1. Once you’ve downloaded the file, open the folder it was downloaded to and then double-select “读&写.(寻找紫色拼图图标).
   
2. A security window may pop up asking if you want to run the file. 选择Run. If you do not see this window, proceed to the next step.
   
3. A window will open asking if you accept the terms. 选择Accept and Install继续.
   
4. The installer will begin and a progress bar may appear. It may take several minutes to complete, so please be patient.
   
5. Once the program is done installing a purple puzzle piece icon will appear on your desktop. Double select on this icon to launch the program.
   
6. When the program launches, it will be minimized at the top of your screen. 要展开工具栏，请选择选项卡.
   
7. IMPORTANT: 你 must be connected to the internet for this step to be completed. A dialogue box will appear asking you to select a method of sign in. 你 必须 select Sign in with Microsoft to properly activate the license. 注意: Choosing Sign in with Google will not properly activate the license, and you will only be given a 30 day free trial.
   
8. When prompted, enter your 密歇根州立大学丹佛 student email and password. If a box appears asking you to Allow access to the program, please select Allow.

Mac安装指南

请注意: These instructions are intended for Mac desktop and laptop computers only. These instructions are not for iOS (iPhone or iPad).

1. 下载完文件后，找到read&写.dmg in your Downloads folder, then right-select it, and 选择打开.
2. A window will open asking you to drag the icon into the applications folder. select and drag the purple puzzle icon to the folder icon. A progress bar may appear while the application is installing. When the installation is complete, the progress bar and window will close.
   
3. 开放 your Applications folder by selecting Finder on your dock, or by pressing F4 on your keyboard. 滚动直到看到读&写, then double-select it to launch the program.
   
4. A security message will appear asking if you’re sure you want to open the app. 选择打开.
   
5. A window will open asking you to enable Assistive Devices. 选择安全性 & 隐私按钮.

重要提示:本版本的阅读&写 is web-based and will only run within the Google 铬 browser. 如果您使用的是窗户。或Mac电脑, it is highly recommended you download and install the associated desktop version.

1. 安装阅读&为Google 铬编写, search for it on the 铬 Web Store, or select this link: http://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/readWrite-for-google-chro/inoeonmfapjbbkmdafoankkfajkcphgd
2. 选择“添加到铬”按钮.
   
3. A pop up will appear asking you to confirm that you would like to add the extension. 选择添加扩展按钮.
   
4. When 铬 has finished adding the extension, a popup will appear in the corner to confirm the process is complete.
   
   重要提示: To continue the setup, you will need to be on a website other than the 铬 Web Store, as 读&写 will not launch while you are on the Web Store 页面. A good site to use is the 密歇根州立大学丹佛 home页面, dektinary.com.
5. 启动读&写 by selecting the purple puzzle piece icon at the top right corner of 铬, or by pressing Alt + Shift + R on your keyboard. The toolbar will appear near the top of the browser.
   
6. 在工具栏的最右边, select the three horizontal dots to open the More menu, 然后选择选项.
   
7. In the Options window, select Accounts in the menu on the left side.
   
8. If the email address displayed is NOT your 密歇根州立大学丹佛 email address, 选择Sign in with Microsoft按钮.
   
9. 这时会出现一个微软登录页面. Sign in to your student account as you normally would.

重要提示: 你 must be signed in with your student email in order for the license to validate. If at any time you see a message that your license will expire, please follow steps 5 – 11 to confirm you are signed in with your 密歇根州立大学丹佛 email address.
